- Magazines: Clemons subscribes to 57 periodicals which include news, public affairs, science and popular culture titles, as well as 10 film studies journals. All newspapers can now be found in the Periodical Room on Alderman Library's 3rd floor.
- Sunday Book Review Titles: Clemons receives virtually all fiction and nonfiction books reviewed in the New York Times Book Review and the Washington Post Book World within a few days of their review. These books can be found on display near the elevator on the 4th floor.
