Mission and History

Light of Truth

Mission. The U.Va. Education Library founded in 1973 supports the teaching, learning, and research initiatives of the U.Va. Curry School of Education by developing a quality collection of print and digital resources; providing courteous, accurate, and thorough assistance in a timely manner; sustaining a quality environment for study and research; and teaching information literacy skills in a manner that ensures the library will remain a leader among education libraries.
