Green News Tip image Green Tip: BYOM
(Bring Your Own Mug) If everyone at the University of Virginia used a refillable mug instead of paper cups at the Treehouse, the Castle, and Pavilion XI alone, we would save about 790,000 paper cups each year! Courtesy of UVa Recycling.

UVa Anywhere Off Grounds Access
The library staff recommends that you use either VPN UVaAnywhere or the Proxy server authentication to access library databases and journal articles when you are off-Grounds. You can get assistance setting up your laptop to use VPN UVaAnywhere or the proxy authentication at one of 3 UVa Libraries. The same staff can help you set up your laptop with a wireless account and set up your laptops so you can print to one of the public printers on-Grounds. If you are a do-it-yourself type person, you can configure your laptop to print by following these instructions and you can also set up wireless access from your laptop.
