RefWorks

You can now attach PDFs, .txt. and file names such as .html., .jpg, etc. to your RefWorks and RefShare files. For example, this enhancement will really come in handy when 1) you acquire the full text of a journal article that UVa doesn't provide full text through the find@uva button, 2) you are working off line, 3) when you acquire the full text of a book chapter or other document not available full text through VIRGO, 4) and when you are using the RefShare functionality (the recipient will be able to access the attached file, too).

RefWorks lists new enhancements regularly. We also thought the announcement in the January 9th listing regarding the ability to save search strategies and the availability of RefWorks on mobile devices such as phones and PDAs was exciting.
