Our library colleagues in the Health Sciences Library invite you to attend their Library Training classes. The next offering is a session focused on "Establishing Alerts to stay Current with your Research. " Background: Many databases and journal publishers offer current awareness services to update you on newly published articles. This session will discuss strategies for keeping current on your research topics as well as obtaining newly published table of contents from the journal titles of your choice.

Join Dr. Marcia Invernizzi and learn about the features and functions of the PALS Online Score Entry and Reporting System.  Would you like to get a sneak peek

The PALS Online Score Entry and Reporting System uses Microsoft Sequel Server and Cold Fusion technology to manage a large-scale literacy assessment nationwide.  Three times a year, teachers enter scores for over a quarter of a million students using the PALS Web site.

SLAB SPSS workshop GIS WORKSHOP
Please pass the word and join us Thursday, April 1 at 2:00pm in the Alderman Library Electronic Classroom for the next Scholars’ Lab GIS Workshop: “Finding and Appending Spatial Data.”

Participants will learn the best places to find spatial data and how to append tabular data to existing spatial data layers. These techniques are especially useful for demographic analysis.
