Recent Acquisitions in African-American History &

The electronic version of "Recent Acquisitions in African-American History & Literature" was designed and constructed by Felicia Johnson, Special Collections Digital Center Library Assistant, with the assistance of Edward Gaynor, Associate Director of Special Collections.

Materials from the physical exhibit were mostly digitized on the Kontron ProgRes 3012 digital camera, by staff in the Special Collections Digital Center. Images were enhanced for web display using Adobe Photoshop 3.0. The electronic version is optimized for viewing on a monitor that supports the display of 24-bit color.

The physical exhibition was on view in the Tracy W. McGregor Room of Alderman Library from February 7 through February 29, 1996 as part of the Library's celebration of Black History Month. The exhibit was curated by George Riser, Exhibitions Coordinator.
