Living on the Lawn

When Fiske and Marie arrived at the University, they took up residency in Hotel E on the West Range where Kimball designed and remodeled some space within the Hotel. In the Fall Term art and architecture studios and lectures were conducted at this site. A group portrait of the architecture faculty and students in 1923 was taken outside Hotel E. Hotel E lies directly behind Pavilion IX which is the residence of the current and past Dean of the School of Architecture.
