Research Instruction & Consultations
Librarians are available to provide one-on-one research consultations and in-class instruction about the best resources for a particular subject, class, or assignment. Instruction and consultations can take many forms, and may include:
- Database tutorials
- ArtSTOR training
- Help finding reliable sources on the web
- Tools to keep up with current events and scholarship
- Tips for choosing a research topic
- Successful search strategies
- Guidance on citing your sources and avoiding plagiarism
- Personalized help when you're stuck in your research
