Electronic Journals
The Library subscribes to a number of different services that supply full-text electronic journals. Clicking on a service below will provide access to the journals it offers. All of these services require a web-browser to use, and many are limited to U.Va. students, faculty and staff.
If you already know the name of a specific electronic journal, you can search it in VIRGO the same way as a print journal. The VIRGO record will contain the URL that will link you to the electronic title (for a n example, see Postmodern Culture). If you want to discover which electronic journals the Library has in a particular subject or area, use the Keyword Search. In the words or phrases anywhere box, type: electronic adj journal and sociology. A list of most of our electronic journal titles can also be obtained through a Keyword Search by typing electronic adj journal.
