The Scholars' Lab is pleased to host occasional visiting scholars. Below is a partial list. We will host several mini-residencies for scholars and software developers as part of our 2009-2010 Institute for Enabling Geospatial Scholarship

Mark Byron
Mark Byron of the University of Sydney (Fall 2009)

Mark Byron is the ARC Discovery Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Sydney. His current work centers on the development of tools and methodologies to support a critical edition of the text and manuscripts of Samuel Beckett's 1953 novel Watt.

Sean Ryder
Sean Ryder of the National University of Ireland, Galway (Fall 2008)

Sean Ryder is the Head of the English Department at NUI Galway. In addition to leading the TEXTE (Transfer of Expertise in Technologies of Editing) project, he is working on an online critical edition of Thomas Moore's work, the Thomas Moore Hypermedia Archive.
