Classes in Special Collections
Classes are held in one of our seminar rooms and generally last an hour. Instructors are drawn from staff members in Special Collections. We ask that groups be limited to twenty-five participants and that classes be scheduled with as much advance notice as possible to allow for arrangements and to reserve space.
To request a class or presentation, please contact Petrina Jackson, Head of Instruction and Outreach. On the request form, include the following:
- Type of instruction requested (class-related session, collections orientation, facilities tour, other)
- Course number and name
- Number of participants
- Explanation of instructional needs (include assignment or topic, if applicable)
- Goals for instruction
- Specific materials you would like covered (include syllabus, if applicable)
- Preferred date and time of session
NOTE: Because of limited staff, we do Saturday and Evening class-related sessions on very rare occasions.
